in my entire playthrough I’ve never seen the perspective switch to somebody else, which is very boring but also focuses all my attention on one character

I remember a post where a guy was like “why does she get all dressed up to go out with her friends but with she just wears sweatpants?” and the “with me” clip had bro in basketball shorts, a t-shirt, and a baseball hat. One of the comments said something along the lines “she’s putting as much effort in as you are.”

Too many of us dudes have such garbo fashion sense they seem to believe that wearing a t-shirt without holes and their “nice shorts” is enough to start complaining about women and it’s just sad.

What is hilarious is when people come into an interview like a scrub. I understand you spent four hundred dollars on those basketball sneakers. But they’re basketball sneakers. You didn’t get the job because you obviously make bad decisions.

And to that end, dressing up nice enough for interview at most places shouldn’t even be that high a bar. Dark jeans and a nice button up, even one with patterns honestly, will probably be enough. After that, though, most jobs pay like shit and treat people worse than that so if they expect me to show up in a suit and jerk them off they can get bent.

I would personally avoid jeans but a polo and khakis would be 100% acceptable. I wouldn’t discount someone in dark jeans. I had someone show up in designer ripped jeans. Just no, dude. This is a job interview.

gonna be honest. i have eclectic (okay weird) but pretty sharp fashion sense. going out with my wife is always an excuse to dress up. i don’t understand this “wearing a t-shirt without holes and their “nice shorts” is enough to start complaining about women” but i’m fucking vain

There are a lot of dudes who basically just think that if they meet a bare minimum then they’re owed something. You can see it a lot just walking around and will probably notice it more as the percentage of chain restaurants and parking lots in the area goes up.

You and I might put more effort in but how we are doesn’t change how they are.

that depends on your opinion. i have a bright bright bright coral linen blazer i’ve fallen in love with lately and i wear whenever the weather is cool enough. pair it with a loud enough patterned shirt and it’s fantastic.

my bio family jokes that they find ugly stuff on the discount rack and when i put it on it looks good because it matches, but they just don’t have the confidence to pull this stuff off.

I actually really like when my so dresses like shit. I don’t know why I find it so hot. Then we dress up for a dress code restaurant, come home and wear clothes with holes from parrots chewing the shoulders.

I’d love to dress better, but at my height and gender expectations, best I can do is a good pair of jeans and a nice t-shirt. Would love to do better 😥

I can’t easily find new clothes or shoes as they are not big enough. I can fing but like never what I’d like. Thrift stores? Just forget it. So jeans & t-shirt it is. 6’6 95kilo, maybe where you live there is an abundance of clothes fitting me but here it sure isn’t.

I’m in Canada. We’re basically the same height but you wear, what, an XL? And I got size 16 feet, so while I understand the struggle I also know that I can definitely get shoes that work(Steve Madden makes shoes that don’t look at all weird when sized up).

If you’re in Europe I’d be amazed if the Germans or Scandanavians haven’t addressed this issue. If you’re in East Asia well that’s gunna be interesting for sure, and if you’re in Africa I really just don’t have enough info to be of any use.

I’m Swedish, and the authorised height stops at 1m92 (I jest, but that’s basically how it works, everything must be ‘lagom’). I live in France so that doesn’t help of course, but when I go home, I don’t get lucky either.

My jeans size is like 34x36 BTW 😁 Or is it 36x34 …

Waist goes first for jeans. I’m a ~33”x34”. My height is largely in the torso so jeans are a little easier, but 36” inseam is generally not too hard to find. I have good luck with Levis.

Getting longer pants is straightfoward enough but man I try to find shirts and stuff and it’s just rough. We have a brand in Canada called Eddie Bauer, maybe it’s elsewhere too I have no clue, and they’re awesome for coats and stuff.

Seen a lot of men like this with the “ideals” except they have a good job and think it’s a crowning achievement. They also often want their wives to have good jobs and to have separate accounts and expenses? So they want a perfect, pretty, petite wife who’s smart, has a great job, but also cooks, cleans, takes care of the house, and their children. What do they bring to the table? Not the looks, money or house help. Their ✨shining personality ✨? Don’t worry ladies this alpha nice guy’s on the market & just around the corner, lucky you!

I think the Venn diagram of guys who want a big tiddy girlfriend with a tiny waist who plays video games and is caring towards them overlaps not only with overweight and jobless but also fit and employed and everything in between. What you’re referring to “don’t make a single effort at anything and are convinced women [owe] him to be perfect” is borderline abusive. You are insulting other overweight and jobless folk with your generalization.

I blame the fact that every guy around their mid 20s has a big-thigh male friend with a small waist that watches anime and plays videogames but still has enough time to introduce a random niche hobby like archery every other week that can be both your cool uncle and a therapist.

How do they do that? Nobody knows.

Meanwhile every other friend and family member seemingly flips a coin to decide if they wanna fall into the racist pipeline every 2-4 years in US depending on how south you live.

Which is totally nothing like women wanting a man that’s 6ft+ tall and makes at least high 6 figures a year minimum and already owns an expensive car and a very nice house…

It’s odd don’t you think, that in the end most of us can find someone that makes us happy with no care about specific physical traits or money. It appears that only the truly damage humans can’t wake up from that pipe dream.
