Not to diminish what the soldiers at the front have to go through, but having to play nice with such a shit person as Trump, only for your country to still get less support than under sleepy Joe, must be painful beyond belief. I wouldn’t even last a day having to kiss Trumps feet.

Can we not use MAGAt language? Call him other names, except anything that legitimizes their rhetoric.

Nah, dude was like 78 years old and mentally gone. That rhetoric is legitimate. The last thing we should be doing is pretending that he was an acceptable candidate and the Democrats did nothing wrong.

And by the way, Trump is 79 years old and also mentally gone, as you can see in the OP photo.

It’s equal parts disgusting and terrifying that Trump has those hats. He’s already proving through his actions that he doesn’t give a shit about our democracy - but having a hat that basically says “fuck you, I’m a dictator” is just so brazen.

Why not? There are other Trumps who are eligible. If Junior runs, they don’t even need to change the banners or the hats much. They dont even need to hide it, they can have big “Donald Trump jr for President” banners still. Dad can go campaigning, and they can make perfectly clear who will make the decisions.

Voting for a candidate that won’t clear 5% is just as bad if not worse than skipping out on the election. That protest vote was summarily ignored before it was even cast and won’t effect any level of change. Anybody who decided Kamala’s refusal was worse than Trump’s everything has fallen victim to the same right-wing disinformation that MAGAts have been slurping up harder than an altar boy at a Catholic Church for a decade.

I’m still going to do the right thing, even if only .0000000000000001% are doing the right thing.

The question isn’t why am I trying to help Stein win; the question is why you aren’t.

That protest vote was summarily ignored before it was even cast and won’t effect any level of change.

I don’t protest vote. I think that’s stupid. That would be like writing in Mickey Mouse or something like that. I’m voting for a candidate’s platform that I believe in, not against another candidate’s. Ironically, a “protest vote” would more accurately reflect many votes for Harris, i.e. people who didn’t care about her platform but wanted to stop Trump.

BTW, my vote was not ignored. It was counted. You can see how many votes Stein got on her Wikipedia article.

Within a first last the post voting framework, a vote for a candidate that has an acknowledged 0.0000000000000001% chance of winning is functionally equivalent to taking the advice from Carrie Underwood’s 2005, Grammy award-winning song “Jesus Take the Wheel” seriously.

With that vote you are tacitly submitting to the whims of the masses which in this election means you functionally endorsed Trump for president. Did you think Trump would do better by the Palestinians than Kamala would? Because your vote for Stein (which was absolutely a vote protesting Kamala’s genocide denial) shows an indifference and disrespect for the power of your vote.

Congratulations, you have consciously made the decision to be a single-issue voter and by doing so personally contributed to Trump’s reelection. The Palestinian corpses that will be bulldozed to make room for Trump Land thank you for your service.

If you’re a Biden-Harris voter, you’re the one who should be happy. Trump is only continuing Biden’s policies. Agreeing with Biden’s position on Gaza but disagreeing with Trump’s position must take some serious mental gymnastics.

Just to clarify: People are assuming you voted for Trump (or at least not for Harris) in an effort to support Palestine

The result of Trump being elected is the current situation, where there is a very real possibility of Israel taking complete control of the Gaza Strip and genociding or displacing all Palestinians currently there

When it comes to the Gaza Strip, Harris was the lesser of two evils. Anyone who voted for Trump, or a 3rd party, helped Netanyahu commit genocide free of American interference. Trump’s America is even giving Bibi huge political and material support, far in excess of what America has ever given before

If that accurately describes you, then we’re all on the same page. If it doesn’t, you may want to clarify your comments now

Personally I assumed third party. It’s the common bullshit line they spout despite knowing third party candidates have little to no chance of winning under our current electoral system. They voted idealistically instead of practically and pat themselves on the back as if their protest votes actually meant anything.

Genocide is a black-and-white issue. When voting, the second-best thing you can do is not vote for a pro-genocide candidate. The best thing you can do is vote for an anti-genocide candidate. In this election, there were two: Cornel West and Jill Stein.

It sucks that third party candidates have no chance to win without major overhauls in how our political system works. Those overhauls haven’t happened yet, unfortunately, and everyone voting third party for the reasons you state knew it during the last election. I’m sure the people in Palestine would be tripping over their emaciated children to line up and sniff your farts with you.

No,but the photo op was immediately a sign for me this was BS.
So much things blatantly wrong, yet even the fanatic Blue MAGA, buy it.

IMHO most people don’t trust Iran to pay up, and couldn’t actually accept the money without getting caught. This is what p2p prediction markets are for.

That photo is precisely the reason why I think the whole “assassination” thing was staged. Like who the fuck does that if their life is in danger?

Someone with an all encompassing ego. His narcissistic personality has probably devoured his flight, fight, and freeze instincts at this point meaning that was the only thing he was capable of.

    what a fucking embarrassment.

not, “look at the things I built”, but “look at the things I’ve collected”.

what a vile pathetic and weak leader.

And he never shut up about how embarrassing Biden apparently was.

If one of my friends showed me a collection of hats with their name on it, I would pull them aside and ask if they have considered getting professional help.

Those aren’t things he collected! They’re merch! He’s got multiple of each item. It’s a griftshop not a collection.

The rich don’t build anything they only collect things.

You can slap your name on something but it doesn’t mean you made it.
