I continue to be disappointed in blaze as they are going oh it was no big deal AND happened already in lemmy.

Someone in the linked thread is arguing this is an example of how rimus actually moving on…
A wonderful mod from piefed.social is trying to argue their reasoning and all of rimus defenders are claiming transphobe is because of how the admin described the instance rimu attacked…
It’s wild how they used I added pronoun support so I can’t be a transphobe in response to someone asking can you please not have a function called stupid?

no you don’t understand he’s against authoritarians that’s why they hate him…

Thankfully in America we have
Point: potential security risks identified while extremely expensive!

Why are they bad?

Piefed is trying to be the next reddit with all the worst parts of reddit amplified in the fediverse but is being hostile towards others in the fediverse and occasionally does things that breaks the protocol fediverse uses.
Main dev now fully going hostile towards other piefed instances

Which do you think are the problem ones?

The take away was make it embedded everywhere rather than a bot addition

I am scared to see what south Korea would do in response to a strike.
And realize I fully expect south Korea to not allow any labor power without knowing if that’s even the case

At least this would be a reason instead of them just giving imaginary stock to companies who are paying in imaginary money

Unsurprisingly not currently. Based on current behavior and responses doubtful in future

It being in a separate repo is great but worse if not visible anywhere. Especially as it’s just an install step calling it something completely different.

One in red on the right of the Chinese side? Think depressed thor from endgame?

He’s not the only one
Piefed brings in the worst of reddit and manages to find a way to impower assholes in the name of better moderation. Basically anyone who doesn’t act like rimu wants get punished and those who go against the hive mind are punished.
This is all separate from issues like rimu finding ways to not respect the federation standards by just making up their own responses
Waaaay too many assholes from world and other trolls 😭.
But then there’s also awesome ones like op, cowbee and others that balance it out

It is impressive and sad to see how much one of them, ie the one removing comments, is trying to argue it’s everyone else’s fault they are abusing power.
Also unsurprisingly actual bad comments are left up
It’s also been happening in the Linux kernel with copy fail/dirty frag and the related exploits found once people started looking deeper.
Wild times ahead in good and terrible ways
