Would you say it is a good example of a communist state? Or at least, a good country that should have continued operating the way it did? More good than bad?
Having grown up in USSR, I would say that it was a good example of a socialist state. It was unarguably more good than bad, and anybody with even a minimally functioning brain can see that the collapse of USSR was a huge tragedy for humanity. But perhaps you see capitalist restoration in the eastern bloc as a positive?
Based on the prior comment, whatever it was. I guess disagreeing isn’t really an option lol. ML is a hell of a place. But hey, I got some new information out of this.
Lmao in what way am I being offended ??? Someone else said something, I’ll never know what, and it got removed. That let me know I need to be on my best behavior not to break any of the “TBD” rules.
Yes, they absolutely would because Stalin, Lenin, and Mao drastically improved the conditions for the working majority. For example https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25495509/
All Marxist-Leninist communists support Stalin, Mao and Lenin, yes. These three men are not what the capitalists tell you, they were not brutal, dictatorial, mass murderers. The capitalists have to demonise them through lies because they were so effective as anti-capitalist leaders and they don’t want the masses to be inspired by them. It took me time to find that out and it might take you a while too.
Most Russians view Stalin and Lenin positively and most Chinese people view Mao positively too. Well, why would they if these men were so evil you might wonder? Well it’s either that their governments are lying about who they are or our governments are (it is the latter), however it is up to you to investigate this.
Here is a good place to start, the uploader is not a communist so you cannot claim bias btw, also I don’t agree with every conclusion he comes to:

You can always just look at the comment in the modlog. They do not get removed for “simply disagreeing.”
It really is your own decision to get offended at people trying to educate you by citing sources.

How? I’m on a phone.
.world shitlibs really do think they should be able to behave as badly as possible without ever being subject to any rules
Rule 2, you’re breaking it. And, that hurt my feelings
I don’t particularly care about the eastern bloc. I just usually hear people, even “communists” talk about Stalinism being a pretty bad thing.
It was correct of you to put communists in quotes there.
Why’s that?
Because no actual communist would say anything of the sort.
They would support stalin/lenin/mao?
Yes, they absolutely would because Stalin, Lenin, and Mao drastically improved the conditions for the working majority. For example https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25495509/
The overwhelming majority of Marxists worldwide do. Opposition to those 3 is largely a western thing.
