… whilst having your own justice department spend months deleting testimony that you raped and witnessed the killing of 12 year old girls.

“Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime, a vicious group of very hard, terrible people,” Trump said, calling the strikes “a massive and ongoing operation.”

The girls were apparently a vicious group of very hard, terrible people so its okay

      sth sth stairway to heaven

explanation: i can’t find a link rn but it’s a core christian concept that people should go to heaven, and that’s more or less the entire point of society. and methods employed are hard work (since that is believed to “rectify” your character which makes you more likely to go to heaven).

The only thing they probably regret is not fucking them before the massacre. They are monsters.

I’m sure we’ll hear about the Hamas tunnels any day now, assuming the media bothers to report on it at all

At the moment, it just sounds like “America is finally winning again” on all channels and frequencies

There was an IRGC naval base 200 to 600 ft away from it so collateral damage is likely, but Israel should have certainly been more careful and targeted.

Isn’t war something that needs to go through congress? On top of that, isn’t this an international joint operation between two nations that DEFINITELY would need to go through congress? Doesn’t matter? Okay.

Constitutionally, war should go through congress.

But we haven’t followed the constitution in a very long time, obviously… decades

that’s what makes someone like Trump possible, and here we are.

we haven’t followed the constitution in a very long time

But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain - that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.

Congress gave the president the power to wage an unlimited amount of war so long as troops are removed by the 90 day mark. Even then if troops are gone before the court rules, it doesn’t matter either, as was ruled under Clinton.

Hasn’t it kind of already started? All these individual wars are always backed up by either of the two big economic blocks: China and its allies vs. USA and its allies. It really looks like a rehearsal before a full-blown confrontation.

Sure there’s been a wave of imperialist wars, but it would have to cascade out of control and legitimately threaten world superpowers directly for a world war to break out. All this adventurism taking place is unfortunately just par for the course. IMO something truly unprecedented like the US launching a ground invasion against Mexico would have to happen to set off a cascade. I don’t think even airstrikes on Mexico would do it, only a ground invasion.

Edit: not even 3 days since I made this comment and I think I may be horribly wrong. Israel employing the same genocidal tactics in Iran that they did in Palestine, Shiite uprising in Bahrain and Saudis sending in forces to put it down, US and Israel setting the stage for Kurdish forces from Iraq to invade Iran, submarine strike on Iranian ship in the Indian Ocean, China and Russia providing satellite support for Iran, Israeli ground invasion in Lebanon. The cascade seems to have begun.
