But that’s not really true. If you are a trinitarian then what Yahweh said is also what Jesus said. But even so people apparently haven’t actually read their bible. Jesus was exclusionary, used racial slurs for tribes he didn’t like, told everyone to continue the same barbaric treatment found in the Old Testement.

You seem pretty emotionally invested, so I will recommend that as I am not particularly invested, if it is easier for you, I give you total freedom to ignore my individual opinion. I’m just one man, feel free to ignore me. But what I’ve quoted is primarily direct quotes from Jesus (per the bible), or taken from Exodus, which is about as foundational as it gets Christianity wise.

I agree that the bible is a poor source of clarity. It is all over the map as far as rules, and not very consistent. But I’m not talking apocryphy here, I’m talking straight up 10 commandments shit. The core “do unto others”, and “don’t be greedy”, and “be grateful”, stuff that the whole thing is supposed to be based on.

I think ultimately we are arguing the same thing: That there is something to justify anything within the labyrinthian maze that is biblical logic. But where we diverge is that you are willing to call anyone who claims to be Christian, Christian. And I’m trying to highlight how an overwhelming majority of Christians are anything but.

My original point is that the brown shirt, class traitor, gestapo, murderer “christian” is just about as Christian as the king asshole there in the white house: ie, not at all. I’m attempting to call attention to the painfully paradoxical relationship between those who call themselves Christians and their estimation of the importance of things such as compassion, charity, humility, simplicity, community, and introspection.

But part of the issue is you are cherry picking WHAT JESUS SAID. You’re literally justifying their actions by trying to pretend like their book doesn’t give them justification.

Jesus said that you must continue the laws previously set by their god. His generic “be nice” message doesn’t supersede the horrible treatment of others the rest of the book promotes. And the part you’re missing is that all the shitty things people do now they can go back to the book and say “look, its says this is all ok. Even Jesus agrees” because it does say that.

This is what happens in all of the highly violent religions. There are good and bad parts and everyone wants to pretend like the bad parts aren’t there. They want to say that people are manipulating the word to justify things when honestly they aren’t. These books were created by people who wanted to justify their own actions, their own grabs for power. They invent gods and create stories to show that the horrible stuff they do is ok because their god says so.

The people you’re saying aren’t Christian are Christian. Sadly they most likely haven’t read their own book, haven’t actually studied it in depth. And the ironic part is that even then most of them still are following what the book says even when doing horrible things.

Why did you skip the part where Jesus said he is here to fulfill the law, not abolish it. That we must continue the old law that told you how to get slaves from the nations around you and how to properly beat them, or to kill a woman if she doesn’t bleed her first time. I think only those who haven’t actually studied the bible would think Jesus was this great guy.

This is the praise you give to someone who fucked up and accidentally killed someone through stupidity with no intent and they’re also devastated that the death happened. Some dumb party prank or something. They’ve otherwise been a normal human and stayed out of trouble. You’re trying for leniency from the court, but still expect you’ll go to jail for a while, just hoping it won’t be a long time.

This MF showed up already primed to kill someone. Deliberately positioned himself in order to claim a threat and escalate the situation, while she was being told to leave* by other officers, and she attempted to leave and was shot by him within seconds even after he was no longer in front of the vehicle. He doesn’t have any remorse. Fuck him.

*([https://www.mprnews.org/story/2026/01/07/shooting-south-minneapolis-ice-agents-federal-operation](“Some of them were leaving, and they just went around her, but ICE gave her orders to leave, while at the same time, another ICE person said, ‘Get out of the car,’ and he reached for her door handle. And then there was an ICE agent in front of her vehicle. ) Seems to be typical cop bs to issue conflicting orders. The shooter could have simply stepped aside, but chose not to.)

Yeah, I dislike when people moderate their beliefs and opinions around the most recent event that made them feel an emotion. If the person above advocates the death penalty for this guy, it implies they advocate for the death penalty in general, and that’s mega fucked. But almost as fucked is the notion that their opinion changed entirely based on their emotion in this moment. It means they have little or no foundation for their own ethics and ideology. It means they’re potentially reactionary, untrustworthy, or ideologically immature. It means that they cannot argue for or consistently demand a coherent vision for a better world. It’s a huge liability.

None of it matters at all, it’s never been about race specifically, it’s about power and control and insecurity. These are the factors that turn people into murderers. Race is always just a convenient decoy they can point at.

Race is connected just in that most of these fucksticks are deeply insecure about someone of another race being more exotic and attractive to their girlfriends, and that sexual insecurity just manifests as this bottomless well of hate and anger, because that’s the only kind of emotion they think they can have as men.

But really, through all of history the people who persecute the people of different races or ethnicities have often also taken advantage of or been deeply attracted to those people as well, and it becomes this toxic well of shame and hate. Stephen Miller is jewish. Vance has to apologize for his wife being Hindu. The leader of the Proud Boys was hispanic. Don’t try to make any of it make sense, just understand that these are not thinking people, if they could think through their problems we wouldn’t be in this mess to begin with.

Sure it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. But as an Asian living in the west myself it’s just weird to me that so many of these Asian women in the west are so self hating that they rather be in a relationship with a racist piece of shit as long as he’s white than be with a normal stand up guy who is non-white and they especially don’t want to be with anyone who is of their own ethnicity.

People broadly don’t think social issues are going to effect them personally and are real good at making excuses for stability and comfort. It’s not that American Asian women are broadly “self hating” in fact it’s usually the exact opposite, they are very strong, prideful people which is where the meme comes from making fun of incels for thinking asian women are submissive.

I don’t know what brings a couple like this together, I’m sure it’s complicated, but I have strong feeling that she’s filipina, and if I know anything it’s that she is haaaaating this media attention and social shaming, and as a result is making this dude’s life hell. It’s not nearly enough but I do delight in the fact that they’re both suffering together on this front.

There were an astounding number of immigrant citizens who came here “the right way” (which mostly involves marrying a citizen) and voted for Trump specifically because they see everyone else coming as “criminals”. They got in, and wanted to pull the ladder up from behind them.

I wonder if they realize that ICE doesn’t care about their paperwork, they see some who is on the wrong side of the “Peter Griffin in a Fez” scale and just act. All of their papers, which they spent so long to get “the right way”, will be dismissed as forgeries and they will be expelled to some foreign country just like the “criminals” they thought they were punishing, because ICE doesn’t see the difference.
