Very cool, I might try KDE out again. I used to use it as my DE back in the day.

KDE or bust in my book, zero telemetry by default is how all software should be setup!

Wait, are you saying KDE as telemetry activated by default?

With KDE any telemetry is opt in only, so by default there’s zero telemetry

Oh, good. I trust KDE with that kind of data, but I can understand not anyone would (nor should), and people should never have to opt-out of sharing data, but opt-in if they so wish.

I might either get the Ubuntu distro or Mint distro.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
