there’s gotta be some sort of factor where low effort men gravitate to Instacart and low effort women gravitate to other jobs. I don’t readily accept that men are just shittier, considering my own experience is rather equal

as a related note, I’m not sure if we’ve had one successful male project manager at work. I think we have a couple now and at least one of them is doing well, but prior to that none of them lasted more than half a year and didn’t do well in that time. I think we’re approaching the half year mark on one of the men now. the women seem to be the only ones that can keep up with the shitstorm and put up with the abuse from all sides. I sure as fuck couldn’t/wouldnt. read into that what you will about how people are treated in that work environment, and specifically how women are treated and how they deal with it.
