Just from seeing the clip, it very clearly comes off as more sarcastic than a serious take. A tongue in cheek explanation for why people would go to the island for reasons other than pedophilia.
This is also coming from another clip where he said it was important to investigate everything in the files and not just release every name immediately since politicians and celebrities would have been there for other reasons.
