Title. I’m fairly confident it has not helped my gums be less sensitive in any regard.

Yes, have been using Sensodyne for years. Haven’t had sensitivity issues in a long time. The toothpaste with Novamin works better and has other benefits, but is significantly more expensive than the Pronamel line (also available at Costco!) which is cheaper but also effective against sensitivity imo

I’ve had the same experience. I had sensitivity to cold foods, regular Sensodyne helped, but the Novamin formulation took the pain away entirely.

I use it, and it has more helped with exposed tooth root sensitivity. Are you consistent with using it? I’m pretty sure it takes at least a few days to a week to build effectiveness and you have to keep using it without substitution.

I tried it and it seems I’m one of those people sensitive to the formula so after a few days I had bleeding gums and constant pain. I stopped using it and things went back to normal.

I tried two more times with different varieties, thinking perhaps I got a bad batch or maybe whatever irritates me wouldn’t be present in other sensodyne variety but no. Same results. Dentist said it happens to some people.

It had some limited effect when I used it for a while. For me it wasn’t good enough so I switched to a more environmentally friendly toothpaste

It used to work for me pretty well but if you do use it, make sure to alternate with another anti-cavity toothpaste. I had crazy tartar build up until I switched away from it as recommended by my dentist. Using Crest Sensitivity Relief now and have had much better check ups at the dentist.
