With a dealer tag on the vehicle, as well. This dillweed is specifically doing this because he believes he is untraceable due to not having a license plate.

Probably a local “small business” that isn’t registered anywhere but somehow gets dealer plates and uses their hustle to avoid paying taxes

            lol edit:

I found them with one YouTube video with the same car clearly in the background

People focus on merch and branding WELL before they have any business model all of the time. It’s totally possible they paid for a $50 custom sticker, and locked down a domain name for 10 years, and hadn’t even applied for a business license.

Edit: watched the video, the rear windows are a different shape I don’t think these are the same cars.

It should be legal for anyone to key the shit out of cars that park like this

Personally, I like this idea better than the tow truck model. It makes their car less nice but doesn’t put them in a situation where their life might be fucked if they can’t afford to get their car out of impound and their income depends on having a car.

I miss my days of running a hardware store, mostly because of our forklift. Idiots had a penchant for blocking the entrance to our parking lot for some reason – I can’t fathom why – and when called out on it they’d give us lip right up until I mentioned we’d just pick up their car with the forklift and put it somewhere else.

I never actually had to do it. I did lift a pallet thief’s truck until he put my goddamn pallets back one time, though. That was pretty fun.

Call the police non-emergency number and report someone in a handicapped parking spot that doesn’t have a hanger or tag. Look for Tow Truck numbers posted in the parking lot.

Hit them where it hurts. Their pocketbook, and having to figure out where their car is, how to get there, how to pay, etc… Don’t use illegal means when legal means are readily available, willing, and waiting.

Take a picture, and complain to the internet? IT’s simpler to take care of legally. Then post a pic of a cop writing them a ticket, or a tow truck hauling them away on the internet.

      * Results vary by location. Try that in my town and the cops will chew you out for “wasting their time,” and tacitly threaten you with arrest to try to prevent you from calling again.

Then we get whinging about why people do these sorts of things as if there are no consequences. Well, it turns out there are no consequences. Once again, this is why we can’t have nice things.

About 25 years ago, I was a retail manager and took great pleasure in having these assholes towed. We had the towing company on speed dial, they loved us. I wasn’t disabled then but it’s just a shitty thing to do so it ticked me off.

Today I just alerted store management, who was pretty pissed off about them. I approved. As much as I’d have loved to do what you suggested, I only had a few minutes before I had to leave.

What is so obviously made up about this story, the part where they worked in retail, or the part where they had illegally parked cars towed? Maybe it was the part where a third party was also upset about the illegally parked cars, much like everyone in this thread? All seems pretty vanilla to me.

It isn’t some herculean task unless you have bad social anxiety. Mentioning it at the customer service desk as you walk in to do your shopping is probably less effort than taking a picture and posting it here.

I see this one frequently in my part of the world. Also, those people who park in the fire lane to “just run in for a minute or two”. It’s next level laziness and entitlement…and for what? To save on walking 20 to 30 feet? If I saw a friend do that, I’d have to stop being their friend.

I work in retail and one time we had someone take the firelane parking to the next level. They pulled up directly in front of the sliding door, like less than 2 feet between their driverside door and the entrance. You couldn’t even get a cart out.

I work for DIDDs full time and let me tell you, my favorite incident so far driving my two disabled ladies around was the time where, in a very obviously for-the-transport-of-wheelchairs van, we got cut off… in their church parking lot.

I still laugh about it. “Did I just get cut off… in a handicapped vehicle… in a church parking lot? Okay. Alright. Let’s see where that gets you.”

Not that it’s necessarily the case here, but I destroyed my knee and had crutches etc for a while, and I just got a tag to hang from my mirror.

Someone walked up before I got out of the car yelling about how I can’t park there, and then I got out with my crutches and knee wheelie and pointed at the handicap tag on my rear-view mirror.

Again, probably not the case here, but I had that thing for about a month, and I caught a ton of dirty looks and stuff because people assumed all handicapped indicators are on license plates.

Schrader valves can be easily removed with a cheap tool. The valve cores aren’t expensive, but remove one on 2 wheels, and they aren’t going anywhere and won’t actually cause damage.

You don’t need the tool if you want to be devious. Just grab any readily accessible small piece of gravel, grit, or detritus readily available in any paved area and screw it down onto the valve pin with the tire stem cap. That’ll allow the air out of the tire and will usually fall out unnoticed when the mark removes the cap later. The problem will then not reoccur, but with luck they’ll be forever paranoid that it may randomly happen again.
