Damn, that is sad. Nazism is an abhorrent affront to anything halfway decent about human beings and should be condemned point blank. The fact that most countries would abstain from doing so is a frightening indicator of the hellscape the world is willingly heading into.
It is more like, “what is the UN going to do about it?”.
And Russia shouldn’t be holier-than-thou about “intolerance” if they are e.g. staunchly anti-lgbtq+ and try to imprison (or otherwise suppress) political dissenters.
So I would caution against jumping to conclusions about the countries abstaining.
