I am replaying GTA IV right now and the internet part is so annoying. Just like all the activities and friends. Why did they think that adding all this crap would be a good idea? Even worse, they removed the ability skills from GTA SA which were really fun. I would say that IV is a low point of the series (having played none of the games before SA).
I’ve played 5 and 1, and am also playing through 4 right now. I haven’t played the others, but I will once the trilogy comes out. Kinda funny we’re nothing playing the same game at the moment.
I agree with you though, the online aspect was cool for the first log on, but now it’s just an absolute chore.
Man, GTA IV is a different game, much more story driven, and i love the world they build and how realistic it feels.
Also has the best story of all the GTA games.

I agree. I don’t dislike the game. I actually feel like it’s one of the most realistic games of them all.
