You need a GUI-on-GUI thing to make it all work for you?

I want to see it all in a single database and manage it all in one place in a GUI with multi select.

That’s what your package manager is for. I’m unaware of a distro that doesn’t include a GUI for this.

It does not include appimages or various other formats that are included in this app. This is an all in one solution.

            You’re the author here, right?

If anything, it would be MORE useful for beginners if it included Snaps or Flatpaks.

I did not make this. It does include Snaps and Flatpaks and Debs and a lot of other formats. Your general package managers do not.

Okay, so what’s your problem with my comment then?

Mate, you are not being clear at all. I’ve clarified this multiple times. If you’re unwilling to acknowledge that out-of-the-box package managers do not generally include non-native package formats, this conversation can’t progress.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
