like we could use gdpr to upload post data of a user and then make corresponding communities for the top 10000 subreddits and just use a ‘::’ to represent a user who hasnt reclaimed their account yet

I know there are tons of Reddit crowd-sourced threads on important topics. Answers to both complex and simple technical stuff, historical puzzles, local hacks etc.

But that is likely on internet archive and other data-hoarding spaces.

The main way, as I see it, that we can sustain this fediverse community is upload quality discussion (which I am liking so far) and seek to create content through comments, posts, and other ways people know how.

I feel your desire to see that Reddit content available to the fediverse but I also think it may take away from the focus on current contributions and interactions.
