I agree. I love Mastodon’s calm columnar UI with lists and hashtags where I feel I’m in control of my experience, and that I can just stop whenever and come back in three days.
I agree with you, I’m also missing context. I agree this looks very fishy for the police to be paying her a visit with the “you are walking a line” comment, but without knowing all the details, I’m reluctant to jump into definitive conclusions. I really hope this story gets picked up by media so we at least get that side as well, however imperfect it might be.

It would have been a better post without the “y’all are stupid” laughter at the very start (though it might probably have been downvoted even then, but maybe less, for whatever that is worth). I agree with the business part of what you wrote.
The title (click bait as it is) withholds the most important qualifier from the text of which AI we are talking about:

Sure, computer vision is important for some jobs, but it’s a much smaller subset of jobs that is really deemed protected as claimed by the study. If the knowledge has already been coded to text on the other hand, it’s a different story.

I stick with DuckDuckGo, it stays as it is. Every time I go to Google I see they are messing with the experience, making it easier to end up on sponsored content and harder to just get what you need. Not so with DuckDuckGo.
I like this answer - succinct and to the point, but the last sentence is vague because “bad revolutionary” could mean “incompetent revolutionary” or “evil revolutionary” (am I missing a third meaning?). I’m assuming you didn’t mean evil, but even so, an “incompetent” revolutionary could have issues with the execution of the revolution (eg. lack of courage) or with the desired outcome (eg. rallying behind a populist cause blindly). Would you care to clarify?
Of course it is, it’s from the playbook. Hopefully it doesn’t work - it seems like the protesters see through every move they make.
