Yeah immich has been on the roadmap for me for a while too… but i think NC+Memories is just good enough to make me lazy enough to neglect/delay the Immich move 🤣

I think it’s history in general, not so much a particular war, no?
I backup to Nextcloud and then use the Memories app to access them. I’ll admit that it’s not as flashy as Google Photos but actually it almost is.

2·5 days agorazor will be definetely shorter, but the pitbull also gives a pretty clean shave (to the point of undistinguishable difference - to me at least) and it literally takes like 60-90 seconds. lemmy show you: (cat for scale ;))
7·5 days agonot a moment too soon… we’ve worked on this back in the early 2000s, then Microsoft steamrolled everything with local government contracts (coughtBRIBEScough) and look how well that turned out.
First thing that comes to m8nd is my Pitbull head shaver. I s(h)aved several hundred euros on simple head shaves, 2 minutes a time.
