I’ve seen a few but none of them have really been great. They tend to focus on the microbe phase but don’t really do it well. I think Spore killed a genera that didn’t exist yet and should be given a second chance.
After the turn around they made with NMS, I’m actually looking forward to their fantasy game. I was already on the “don’t preorder stuff” squad when NMS came out but I still shared the disappointment that everyone who bought it felt.
It was kinda like the launch of No Man’s Sky. Tons of hype, failure to deliver.
Weekly full backup, nightly incremental
That’s how I do it. I tend to sort by hot because active doesn’t tend to update as often. Hot shows new content more often and I can filter out more communities I’m not interested in.
Do it, I’m tired of this clown getting attention
I don’t remember the exact process but I ran Linux on computer A and windows on computer B. I installed windows onto a second drive on computer B and set Virtual box on computer A to use that drive as its boot drive over the network. I then shared the primary drive as well so I could boot computer B into either Windows install and run the other as a VM on Computer A.
I have no idea why I did this but it worked and no one was impressed.
I use it to help with programming and writing. Not as a way to have something so it for me but as something that can show me how to do something I am stuck on or give me ideas when Im drawing a blank.
Kinda like an interactive rubber duck. Its solutions arent always right or accurate but it does help me get past things I struggle with.
You are in the denial phase of deleting your Facebook account.
That’s one of the things it does… connect to your Mac and get big virtual monitors for it. Major selling point imo
100% switching to whatever the fork ends up being.
From a look at the documentation it’s just a fancy terminal. If you don’t really care about theming or image rendering then it’s not something you need. If you’re trying to rice a UI like hyprland then it looks like a good option.
Personally, I don’t see much added value over whatever the default terminal is but I’ve never been one to mess with things that do what they are supposed to.
Clean water on demand
That is the exact quote people use when it’s 100% a cash grab
Between my wife and I we make 200K a year. We have a roommate to help pay bills because between her chrones disease and our kids health issues we can’t afford to live. She has been without her chrones medication for 6 months because the humera was causing problems and the new prescription has been in limbo between pharmacies not wanting to deal with it or her insurance and her insurance continually sending her to pharmacies that don’t accept her insurance. Medication that is easily affordable and available in other countries is dangled just out of reach while she suffers.
I had a hell of a time trying to use Gmail and exchange email from the terminal clients I tried. Mostly because of security features. I never got it working but aerc looked really nice.
Llama does have some details on GitHub about this. According to them, no, it does not send data anywhere. You can also monitor network traffic to watch for it sending anything it shouldn’t. If you don’t want to do that, firewall it.
Your English is very good, is it commonly spoken there or do you have another reason for using it? If you had to estimate, how often do people speak Greenlandic, Danish, or English in their daily lives? What about the languages used in written media?
Do you ever go fishing? What are the shores like?
