Sitting in a poorly climate controlled warehouse, or spending too long in a truck/shipping container are probably the most common cases I would think.
I think Culture Shock would fit that description pretty well, it’s defined as a condition of confusion and anxiety affecting a person suddenly exposed to an alien culture or milieu.
If you have an Asian grocery nearby, try getting a package of salted duck eggs. They’re boiled and packed in salt at the factory, so that the whole egg absorbs the saltiness trough the shell. They come individually vacuum sealed, so you can just cut it in half with a knife and scoop the egg out of the shell with a spoon, they’re delicious in ramen.
No one who buys this pulls a trailer big enough to justify the truck. If it was a real work truck it would have either no bed, a flatbed, or a toolbox bed.
Sadly they are not, the people that do it are the worst kind of asshole. They generally like to “roll coal” while passing electric or hybrid cars, covering them with soot. The spend thousands of dollars to be as obnoxious and wasteful as possible, all to spite “the liberals”.
If you’re in the US most auto parts stores will take it for free, I know for sure that Autozone and Advance Auto do.
In terms of performance, a K&N is the way to go, but if you’re looking for reliability, the regular old paper filters are better for your engine. They’re a much finer filter medium and catch a lot more dirt than a K&N will. Also the price difference is negligible, a paper filter is usually around 15-20, while a K&N is closer to $50 or $60 plus the future $30 or so for a recharge kit to clean and re-oil it.
When it comes to oil changes however you’ve definitely got the right idea, cheaper with better oil and better filters. Also I do know that K&N uses a finer mesh in their oil filters than most compettitiors, so its worth it there.
I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD at 34 years old, and medication has had a huge impact on my whole life. While it has increased productivity while at my job, I’ve also been able to complete more personal projects in my free time. A properly working executive function is extremely important in all aspects of life. I’d continue to medicate even if I was living in a Startrek esque socialist utopia. I agree that ADHD can often be over diagnosed, but for those of us who are correctly diagnosed, treatment is lifechanging.
Why do they need to use fresh water to fill the locks? I get that pumping salt water may come with a bit more maintenance but it just seems like a waste to use all that fresh water.
Having a fan blow into your face really helps too. I cant play more than 10 or 15 minutes without one, but with I’m fine for hours.
I’m honestly surprised that he lasted this long
