US liberals (which somehow have managed to become orders of magnitude more toxic than their carbon copies around the world) have done more damage to their image with their meltdown over this move than anything Musk could have achieved on his own.

Twitter is sht before musk. It will be sht with musk.

I hope it just stimulates more people to get off the sh*t site.

I’m serious cuz I have 900+ followers on there and I use it a lot.

I want to have something better which people migrate to in great numbers.

I’ve enjoyed it a lot over the years and it was honestly instrumental in my radicalization, but it definitely has its issues.

It’s a huge time waster than tricks you into staying on it as long as possible. I frequently go weeks without using it and never miss it when I’m gone. I always come back though.

I’ve been meaning to set up a Mastodon account, there’s a way to bring in tweets from Twitter onto that platform.

I use it for logging purposes and to talk and meet with others. And to advertise certain things and links including lemmygrad and my personal projects and websites. I download archive regularly because I know eventually my account will be taken down. I’ve prob already got 2 strikes. But I treat the site the same way GZD treats reddit, its a vessel to attract people to do ‘activism’ and attract people to my sites and accounts.

It’s laughable that no one is concerned about billionaires owning media which is precisely what oligarchs in Russia and Eastern Europe do. Instead they are just worried about one billionaire owning Twitter rather than the concept as a whole.

I’m not an Elon fan, but I enjoy watching him take a wrecking ball through the establishment.
