I absolutely love the Sherlock & Co. podcast, the conceit of which is that Watson is a podcaster who records the adventures of Sherlock and releases them as a podcast. He’s apparently always recording everything, at every moment, on a little portable recorder that’s small enough to pass essentially unnoticed in almost any situation–and yet there’s been only one time that I can remember in which this recorder has failed, and it has never run out of battery power, including when the investigation unexpectedly took them to rural southeast India for several days in The Sign of Four.
