Good God that kid looks like me. I had that same atrocious bowl cut.
there were thousands of us.
the 70s were a cruel time.
70s? That look held on until the early 80s. If you know you know.
Ha this is definitely something that happened to me.
I remember that. It was so annoying. Her brand smelled awful. The ones I smoked were way better.
When I was a kid my parents didn’t let me use a lighter to light fireworks so they gave me a lit cigarette instead.
I once found a full pack of cigarettes on the ground at age ~10. I quickly figured out that lighting it on fire and using the cigarette to set off fireworks was so much easier than using a lighter. I didn’t even think of smoking it, I just left it lit on the ground and used it as a lighter.
I didn’t understand why my parents were so worried when they found out lol.
They sell punk for this. They look like incense sticks without any scent. Just a smoldering slow burning stick, used to light fireworks with.
They do now. For those of us that still speak the old magic, we know that a lit cigarette was the original punk.
That leather coat mom is wearing is fucking fire. Wonder how much a real leather jacket like that would cost today?
I like how they have the same haircut
The Dorothy Hamill cut. It was huge after the '76 Olympics:

I had a crush on Susan, the new girl in the 4th grade, a redhead with that cut. I threw up on her shoes, once. She never talked to me.
It was one of six you could choose from back then. That was it. Only six haircuts to choose from. /s
those things ppl use to quit vaping?
cute mom btw
That Dorothy Hamill cut was the shit.
I remember @ 7-8yo going to the local convenience store with a note to buy my mom cigarettes.
I imagine any adults with poor handwriting did not benefit from this cigarette home delivery system
“Nice try, Timmy. You clearly wrote that note yourself”
When I was a kid in the '70s there were cigarette vending machines everywhere. If you wanted to smoke, you could smoke.
I’m old, the most offensive thing about this is that indestructible percolator.
On the stove? I believe that is for gravy.
I like the cut of your jib.
This could be a picture of my father and grandmother. Like, I think we have one of the same scene.
That’s why Paul Simon wrote a whole song about Kodachrome.
Great tune
How the hell could someone smoke cigs in the 70’s and not be able to grasp it in their lips while using both hands?
Not lady like. That’s old man smoking.
Wish I had a mom
And then your fingers stank for an hour.
Dorothy Hamill haircut. So popular back then.
