Seriously, it’s loser behavior.

Wait I thought the Steam Frame is sold to random people who registered for the purchase? And only one per person? So how do Scalpers purchase them in bulk?

Ways to buy in bulk aside, there will be people who just buy their one allowed Frame only to scalp it, just like people did with Steam Decks. Most scalpers are not big operations, just people who bought one in order to resell.

Do not look at the tcg scene

Riftbound t1 collectors set was set to drop for 350 usd, scalpers resold it for 6k

Pokemon is the worst tcg, no one plays the card game, it’s literally cardboard collection simulator

I somehow ended up on a Pokemon card collector Facebook group.

Scalpers are losing thier mind because the drop rates of rare cards are higher in the new sets and they made ALOT of sets.

So a lot of the scalpers are like “how could they do this to us! This is my livelihood “ and all the people who enjoy the game are like “well this is fucking amazing!”

Report them all and give them fake offers for the lulz. Even better, when they actually ship, find the people selling them on Facebook and make them drive an hour away while you sit in your room laughing.

I recently got lucky and managed to pick up a Cafelat Robot (really hard to get manual espresso maker). It completely sold out in minutes. I paid $495 CAD. I then saw a local listing a few days later, someone was selling one BNIB for $950. It sold in a couple hours. I was so mad when I saw it sold.

I wish eBay and other popular marketplaces would just enforce msrp or lower for certain categories new

Given that Steam Frame is ARM64, and runs a rooted version of Linux, I wonder how long until a homebrew version crops up. I hope people are playing with this idea.

Well, it probably wouldn’t have this much demand if it ran Solaris with no root password set on SPARC…

Anyways, you can hotglue a computer to a Valve Index then make it run Monado with WlxOverlay. I don’t know if it can run without a monitor, I guess you will have to try it and see, or just make a fake software monitor.

There are so many brilliant opportunities to direct your hate to, and you waste it on people who got more lucky than you in consumerism? Amateurs. *laughs an evil black metal laugh*

What I’m hearing is that you have a limited capacity of hatred and have to ration it, as opposed to normal people just hating all of the things they deem hate-worthy
