I've found DLSS 5 can slash frame rates by up to 73% on an RTX 5080 gaming PC in NBA 2K27, and I'm wondering what kind of mega-rig would justify the performance hit

DLSS 5 can look good, but slashing fps by up to 73% on an RTX 5080 rig is simply no bueno in 2026

At what cost AI-enhanced graphics? Frames, it seems.

Using DLSS 5 takes a special level of stupidity. But using it in something like NBA 2K27… Wow… Humanity really is screwed.
