PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•The memory crisis keeps getting worse: Nvidia graphics card prices now rumoured to increase by as much as 30%English
9·8 days agoYeah and also not just PC/PC components either. Anything that’s electronic, uses copper, uses a PCB, all of it’s being sucked up by AI and driving prices of everything up.

81·17 days agoHence why we should be fighting for rights with digital goods. eBooks can be checked out at the library, albeit not without multiple fights to get something relatively fair, and there’s no good reason why this can’t be implemented for all other digital goods, other than like you said, corporate greed.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Will the next president of America have to do a world wide apology tour for this administration? Kind of like celebs do when they get their ass in a sling.
151·28 days agoNo.
Apologies won’t do shit since Americans have shown they’re absolute morons by electing Trump twice and Republicans constantly. The American people have shown that America is too stupid to govern.
If by some miracle progressives and non-republican Democrats get elected into majority power they’d be better off simply passing legislation to ensure Republicans can never have power again if they actually want to get the world to trust America again.

111·2 months agoHonestly, this was going to be a wait until moderate discount for me since I have such a massive backlog. I guess I’ll pick it up now just to support IO Interactive for getting screwed by AI.

I mean I would have a much harder time creating a “you’re a fucking moron, go fuck yourself” email in a professional manner to some of my higher ups. Other than that, I would literally miss nothing about AI.
