Most cockroaches are pretty chill. I bought tons to feed to my bearded dragon over the years, never freaked me out.
Then again, that’s very different from encountering them in your closets or elsewhere in your home.
It’s a consent and cleanliness thing. If i have cockroaches, theres something very wrong in my house i need to fix right now, which freaks me out. That extends to seeing them outside of my house, because i dont want them inside of my house
