And china, russia, and the US break them constantly. We’ve been at a point of no respect for global rules-based order for a long time now.

        Ha.

Unlike international law, the “rules-based order” doesn’t even exist. It’s a thing the US made up. It’s just a euphemism for doing what the US tells you. The US makes up the rules and expects countries to follow them. Why the hell should China or Russia play the US’ game of Calvinball?

One of those is not like the others. What international law has China broken lately? Russia has one strike w/ Ukraine (technically against international law ig regardless of whether you agree with their reasoning). Meanwhile the US breaks international law every week and has been doing so for decades.

Westerners always assume that, just because they break international law constantly, their enemies must as well.

This counts only if the US does it. If it was China, it would count as “a violation of the rules based global order”

the best part that your country will do this because the USA used it leveraged in the recent past to force your country to become amenable to it.

i hope that watching the only other world power resort to sternly written letters both w this and gaza like some feckless democrat is not a portent of things to come.

If china cut a deal with venezuela it would get cheap oil and could protect its ships. I think the US ‘department of war’ may just be accellerating the shifting of world power against the US.

It’s hilarious that China now stands for International Rule Of Law and the US stands for Piracy and Genocide.

It’s almost as if one of these nations has an ancient and deeply ingrained tradition of legalism and the other makes international law simply to use as a weapon against weaker powers

China has consistently been far more respectful of International Law than the West has been.

It’s only more of the epstein shuffle. Those ships will be given back very soon now. It’s his last ditch effort before the compost hits the Cuisinart.
