This looks really cool but I immediately recognized some shared free assets from Wesnoth, lol
They have a handy attribution spreadsheet here: https://github.com/Grokmoo/sulis/blob/master/docs/attribution.csv
Nothing wrong with that :p
I wasn’t saying otherwise :p
It is legal, don’t worry.
I know! I wasn’t worried.
In this genre I prefer Flare, much better with better graphics and several mods, apart it’s easy to modify and customize in a clean text INI file, which run over the Flare engine.

But this is not written in Rust.
Shame on them!
Is that important for the user to play it?
Sometimes it is, if for example the game needs a lot more resources to be played and can cause lag.
You may be right, if you still want to play it on a paleolitic 486. Flare’s minimum requirements aren’t much more than Sulis’s. It is equally 2D, although in an isometric perspective instead of top down. Simply looks better. Well, Flare need 30Mb more to install.
The game is actually not bad but the gameplay is boring and repetitive: You just spam attacks on the enemies and then heal up by resting.
Sounds like something I would have enjoyed as a kid
It seams really interesting. I will give it a try
Let’s see if it works in Devuan 3 (Debian 10) or Devuan 4 (Debian 11).
That’s so cool! Some of the artwork reminds of Wesnoth
