        Did anything ever come of that game? I remember it being really hard but had fun in the custom levels.

          As posted elsewhere in the comments, Overgrowth was finally finished and the physics-based combat is extremely fun. Wolfire went on to make the handgun-simulator Receiver and Receiver 2 which are both also great

          I beat the freeware version 20+ years ago. I know the developer made Overgrowth which was a spiritual sequel but I’ve never played it.
