Basically, I can’t afford university tuition and I know it might be an absolutely weird thing to ask for in Lemmygrad, but I was hoping maybe someone can help me. I used to be active here a year ago. But life have some turns, but maybe you guys can help. I really want to pursue an education, but I can’t really afford it.
But any help would be appreciated!
And sharing this post would help too! Thank you so much!
Maybe there are scholarships you could take. There ought to be some that are especially for poor people.
there are usually a lot of scholarships out there that just need to be found and applied for
Is there a possibility of going to university in a country where university is tuition free? I knew many foreign students in my uni days whose main reason for choosing to come to study in Germany was because it was affordable, which i think is totally legitimate. You still have the costs of living, in particular housing (though there are programs that offer financial help for students) and a small fee per semester for various miscellaneous services but it’s nothing like the exorbitant prices in some other countries.
Also, at least in my uni, there was very little language barrier for foreign students as you could get by quite well just knowing English and some basic German, especially once you got to the Masters’ program which was all in English.

If you’re interested in something that doesn’t entirely rely on getting a degree and further certification (like law or medicine), then there are tons of free online courses from the best universities. Platforms like edX, Coursera, udemy. Khan academy for more fundamental knowledge. Dedicated sites for things like coding or graphic design. There are tons of ways to learn well and for free.
