Where the hell do I get this, I’m Indian
This looks amazing. I’ve been looking for restaurants that have these but am coming up short. Some places have pictures of them but nothing on current menus. Hoping I find somewhere. (US, Seattle area)
I’ve never seen them in an Indian restaurant. Mom makes them very well. Sorry!
I need this in my life.
I had to look up what this actually is and it sounds pretty damn good!
My issue with foods like these is that the eggs get overcooked and the sulfur ring forms around the yolk, you probably want to cook the eggs to be more runny so it doesnt overcook while you cook the outer layer
The yolk is waaay too hard
They harder they are, the better they fit.
I had fried eggs for breakfast this morning. They were delicious. I normally have porridge.
I love scotch eggs
I always get these at the Renaissance faire
They’re amazing with spicy mustard
Try making them with a slightly less than medium boiled egg next time.
No thanks I like my hard boiled eggs.

“Wanker”
The 1950’s called, they want their stereotype back.
The colonies called, curry and tea aren’t British.
They didn’t make good food. They took it from brown people.
Typical, ain’t it?
Haggis
Meat pies
Fish and chips
Shepard’s pie
Scones
There’s a ton of great British food.
Haggis
Not by the loins of me forefathers, ye English bastards! FOR SCOTLAND!
Meat pies
Fair! That’s one that stacks.
Fish and chips
McDonalds Beta 0.03.234
Shepherd’s pie
Meat pie (with potato)
scones
American buttermilk biscuits but worse
This was all far enough back that funny things happened like Scotland’s royal family actually taking England’s throne.
And yeah if you get reductive enough there’s been no originality in the last 10,000 years. Food also absolutely crosses borders, like the Norman invaders who brought North West French dishes I haven’t even mentioned.
At any rate there’s definitely more to British cooking than curry and tea.
The wars been over for like 250 years lol. Y u still mad?
