minus-squareradixlinkfedilink3•2 years agoI think it’s a 2:1 ratio because it’s X hours traveling there, X hours spent at the location, and then X hours coming back home, totaling 2X hours in transit.

However, I have violated this, so it is clearly not my limit. Technically, I have stayed for shorter times. Those were not “for fun” trips and had important goals attached. I am also discounting all one-way trips of less than an hour.
