    Yeah, any organisms that live in warm water are going to be much more prevalent, and easily transmissible to humans. Even worse than algae, we’re already seeing brain eating amoebas appearing in US https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/florida-man-dies-brain-eating-amoeba-nose-rinse-tap-water-rcna73067

      Interesting to me how most Protozoa (the Ciliates, Ameboa’s & Flagellates) are free living microbes yet also opportunistic parasites. Wonder if we’ll see an uptick with Ciliates and Flagellates in addition to the Ameboa’s

        Quite possibly, small organisms tend to adapt fairly rapidly and if new niches become available to be exploited I imagine such organisms will quickly move in to populate them.
