Yes, this site is very left-leaning. I have seem plenty of moderate opinions downvoted because they are centrist or centre-right, and the anti-Trump, anti-Elon and anti-USA sentiment is deservedly heavy right now.
Keep that in mind when reading comments, this place is a bit of an echo chamber at the moment.

Found some random cooler for a totally different CPU, smeared thermal paste on it and zip-tied the cooler to the mobo and case as best I could.
That thing ran like a champ for almost 6 months till I got around to replacing it

Hydrogen will never catch on until we can figure out the storage problem. It’s hard to store useful amounts of hydrogen in a small space without cryogenics or insane pressures. Fuel cells that generate hydrogen as needed from water or something is probably what we’ll end up with.
