It is $7.25, but U.S. businesses often get away with paying waiters way below minimum wage. They expect their employees to make it up with the tips they recieve from customers. If it is American style tipping, that is exactly what that is.

This certainly also means these businesses are willing to under-pay their employees who do get tips.

That’s a sin.

I am more appalled that they think many of us older gen people actually experienced the “good ol days.” When do they even think that is? Lmao Nobody else outside their generation has ever experienced these same troubles ever?

The thing is that these types of services eat away at money anyway. It’s better to go get the food yourself just to save yourself the money. If you must eat out rather than cook. Although, I understand that this may be more difficult for those who live in major cities such as NYC or LA, as examples. Food delivery has always been a thing for a lot of major U.S. cities. In my opinion, food delivery apps such as Uber Eats and Door Dash are not worth it or smart for many, if not most people.
