I’m not sure which is funnier: the idea of the US preparing for anything, or the idea of people being surprised by US intervention. Especially in Haiti, where there’s a long record of US intervention to begin with.
The 2,500 Haitians killed so far this year might think otherwise.
Why? Because it would be unfair to those 2500 if all the others don’t die too?
