Plastic caps being attached to bottles has nothing to do with carbon footprint, it’s to reduce plastic waste in the environment.

The Roadster FV uses cold gas thrusters, IE compressed air. There’s no carbon footprint apart from the energy used to run the compressor.

And probably a lot of energy used in designing it. Wtf is the point? There is no chance that is road legal. So… What is it for?

The only real use case I can see for it is a film stunt car.

A big thing in Europe now. It might be limited in some areas based on whether the plastic of top and bottle need to be separated for recycling.

It’s awesome. I love having a few drops of liquid in the cap and the cap being in my face while drinking, the drops on my face now.

Also great for people with disabilities who can not hold things that good and caps sometimes snapping back can make a mess eg when pouring.

Yes, while it sounds exaggerated I’ve had it all happen sometime. So I tear them off.

Why the fuck am I seeing bottle caps getting compared to some billionaire’s vanity project everywhere?
