Shares more DNA with something from Platinum imo. This is not meant to be a judgement on the quality of the game as I generally love Platinum’s games. Edit: maybe a better comparison would be the modern Ninja Gaiden games (though not as difficult. Not yet at least)

Eh I’m not sure about that, though I’ve only played a couple of hours so far.
