    Key fact:

Officials involved in the investigation pointed to gaps that they said were left after Hegseth dismantled most of the Pentagon’s civilian harm mitigation, or CHM, units — cutting headcount across a number of teams by roughly 90% to fewer than 20 staff members, people with direct knowledge of the matter said. Centcom’s team was reduced from 10 to 1.

No CHM team member reviewed the Minab site before the strike, according to officials involved in the internal investigation. That was a consequence of the cuts in staffing but also a decision not to involve the group in planning and operations, the officials said.

This is less about an AI mistake and more about a culture shift (which leads to an over-reliance, but is heavily a “we don’t care”).

so this department of war criminal needs to be in jail or guillotined for war crimes. esptein class and dont forget he fired multiple generals in the department of defense not war for giving advice about the war. he ignored and fired them to proceed to abuse our men and women in uniform.

This kind of deniability is a core feature of AI. “Um, the killing/hacking robots we built and pointed at targets went out of control” is not something that should mitigate criminal charges.

That’s an interesting way of saying “stupid fucking military assholes just did what ChatGPT said to do without thinking and murdered 123 CHILDREN without even thinking.”

“AI” just said stuff, human beings pulled all the triggers. People did this.

Even if the whole kill chain was automated and the machine “pulled the trigger”, it would still be the fault of the humans for caring so little about the lives of children that they wired the trigger for something that can mass kill civilians directly to the machine.

There really is no way that this shit can be blamed on the machine.

Trump/Hegseth went apeshit and banned Anthropic from entire government over “just letting AI pull the trigger” ambitions.

    Motherfuck!

Lookie here I’m all good with AI as a chatbot or making princess jasmine porn for the wackaloons.

But connecting to your email, sending emails. OR FUCKING BEING USED FOR MILITARY INTELLIGENCE I draw the fucking line!

The hell is wrong with these people!

They’re using AI so they can blame AI… It’s not like they wouldn’t have bombed the school without AI, they’re just using it as a scapegoat.

So, another “Oops…” and Americans aren’t war criminals? Every fucking American soldier in the chain is an accomplice in war crimes. Every idiot who tells them “thank you for your service” is a supporter of war crimes. “I was following orders” is not an excuse.

The thing has no intelligence, it’s a statistical engine (at that’s the case not just LLMs but for ALL machine learning implementations)

So it doesn’t even has common sense and its not going to go: “Oh shit, this might have some really nasty side effects so better check with somebody” unlike even the most junior domain expert imaginable.

Worse, the probability distribution of its errors in the domain of the gravity of the consequences from said errors is uniform - in other words it’s no less likely to make a major life destroying error than it is to make a tiny error which isn’t a problem - which is why we get stories of for example LLMs advisings somebody who has voiced suicidal thoughts to “kill yourself”.

So you NEVER, EVER, EVER wire its output directly to something important - at the very least it needs to be cross-checked by somebody with the knowledge to judge it, the time to properly go over it and the power to stop it being actioned.

Stop it, this isn’t about ai. This is about the leaders of a global child sex trafficking ring starting a war to take the news headlines away from their global child sex trafficking ring. If LLM weren’t invented yet they would blame excel sorting and filtering instead.

I need to know how your brain works. Like what neural connections are firing that lead to commenting this? Do you think Trump will personally read this and be offended? Are you trying to spread anti-Trump propaganda to shift indifferent people away from their indifference? Do you just think it’s really funny to say that sentence? Do you not think about it at all and it’s as natural as blinking? I genuinely cannot wrap my head around what it’s like to be an “I would vote for Obama a third time if I could” liberal. Please this is a real question I need to know why people like you talk like this I’ve been fascinated for years and this type of comment behavior hasn’t faded away.

The Tomahawk Block IV (Tactical Tomahawk) added an in-flight camera system that lets it send back battle-damage images before impact, and the missile can even be redirected to a new target or loitering point mid-flight via satellite link. So it’s not a passive “fire and forget” weapon in the way older versions were.

yeah we know ai killed the girls so are we holding anyone accountable or blame the ai and hold no one accountable. how bout punish the ai company by removing their contracts and jailing them as they are responsible for creating a product that killed 123 school children at the bare min of course also take back all their wealth bankrupt the company and take the ceo private funds since they are jailed war criminals have no rights.

ai companies are now war criminals in this case.

only with sufficient and just enforcement of law can we create better ai to serve humanity not ai slop and hallucinations that killed 123 school children. soon to be the USA citizens if the esptein class have their way.
