I bought pumpkin pie spice because I couldn’t find pumpkin spice. I made a pumpkin latte last night.

I made a simple recipe of oatmeal, pumpkin pie spice, milk and honey. It came out alright all the flavor was in certain chunks of the oatmeal. Need to brainstorm on how to distribute the flavor. Probably need to stir well

This is what the outcome of my first pumpkin pie spice cereal

I only have experience making cinnamon toast crunch (rice flour based) and corn flakes (you’ll never guess what kind of flour this uses), but I’d imagine you can make fruit loops at home as well.

EDIT: Interesting idea, puffed rice is basically how what rice krispies are, and a lot of cereals have a similar texture. Maybe it’s possible to essentially make a kind of rice paste by overcooking rice and using way too much water while cooking it, flavor it however you like, shape it however you like, dry it out thoroughly, and then deep fry it to puff it. I haven’t tried it, so no idea how well it will work.

I asked an AI and apparently it’s citrus zest. It’s outer layer of lemon and oranges. Then you can add honey or syrup

Bergamot is actually the correct citrus but as a person who cooks and bakes a lot (and won my churches bake off today with key lime and lemon bars) this definitely wouldn’t taste like Froot Loops, I actually don’t even think it would taste that good in oatmeal…
