There are almost 20,000 individual departments in the US with varying rules and requirements. In Germany you can’t even carry a gun on the force without a 4 year degree.

There are actually lots of surveys and studies done on this subject by schools, governmental, and financial institutions. They all have a pretty heavy stake in what degrees loans are being handed out for and whether that person will be able to repay it. I honestly forget it had a touchscreen all the time. I grew up before the prevalence of touch screen devices so it never occurs to me that something with a built in physical keyboard could be interacted with that way.
