That’s a GREAT movie. One of the best of 50’s sci-fi, top ten easy. Incredible special effects for the time (much of which still holds up), a great writer in Richard Matheson (novel & script), and dense with metaphors, like a minimized husband in a disintegrating marriage.

Also a 7.6 on imdb, and that’s pretty damn good, ESPECIALLY for sci-fi. Other 7.6 movies: My Dinner with Andre, The Ladykillers (1955), Enter the Dragon, From Here to Eternity, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Fifth Element, American Psycho, Train to Busan, My Cousin Vinny, Thelma and Louise… This is not a movie that sucks.

Ain’t nobody knocking Incredible Shrinking Man while I’m around

Ahhhh, trailers can do that sometimes. I loved that movie for the shrunken stuff, the spider, etc. when I was a kid, but a lot more of it lands as an adult.

The bit where he’s yelling at his wife from the dollhouse he’s living in landed VERY differently
