Just want to get some perspective on what people think of the American reaction. I’m NOT asking if it will happen. I’m asking what do you think Americans will do, if anything if this happens. Do you think people will just not care or protest on the streets?

Edit: What would your reaction would be? (even if not American)

I don’t understand what people think they would otherwise do. Say you lived in Ukraine, Like 2.5% of their population are active duty. The other 97.5% of the population goes to work/school/etc the next day.

If your honest with yourself everyone age 1-17 and 35+ nothing too much would really change. More jobs would pop up manufacturing drones and such. Amount of males between 18-35 would decrease some, and for the most part life would go on. Oh and them wanting to add $1.5 trillion more dollars to the military budget would pass really quickly. If the U.S. put a deployment as large as Vietnam was these days, we wouldn’t even have 1% active duty.

911 will be a decent reference. Then that fear will be capitalized for state control and power consolidation, privacy invasion, ultimately making the world a worse place. The same playbook
