I feel like this could be right up his ally for humor. Someone gets sad and the person reading the paper (specifically not the obits) is confused. “They’ve passed the age. They’re 101 now.”
Newspaper says “Mel Brooks has passed”, the newspaper is unfolded to reveal “the age of 100”

Ironically, I had to use Imgur because Lemmy.world disallows posting and uploads via the VPN that I utilize, and direct upload chokes due to some stupid shit the regulator and providers around here are pulling.
The way things in the Europes and the US are going, in a few years most Western VPNs will be of no avail for accessing the sites I want. We’ll both have to VPN through Mexico or somesuch.
