Remember the historic deal the Obama administration managed to get in place? Now, that is not to say the dems would have been peace-and-love about Iran; they’d happily continue their drone strikes on weddings in the Middle East. I highly doubt they would attack Iran unprovoked, though.
Obama deal was useless. It was just a useless deal to portray himself as a peace president after contributing into destroying Lybia and Syria. The american inteligence said that iran stopped seeking nukes in 2003.
The point of the Obama Iran deal wasnt to stop Iran from getting the bomb. It was to diffuse regional tensions by having a publicly contrite Iran work its way back into the global economy. Moderate dems have always believed in peace through economic colonialiam. Similar to how his administration softened on Cuba.
If it had been left in place Iran would be selling oil without sanction to the whole world right now, and building a larger economy of manufacture for the region. Any guess as to who in the area didnt fuckin want that?
