This was a big part of why I got a Kobo to replace my kindle. Built in overdrive support so I can get loads of books from my local library and it’s super easy to load up books that you’ve downloaded from places like Standard eBooks and Project Gutenberg.
I’ve got a Kobo. Never spent money in their store yet but I love it.
