      Major roadblocks to empathy are:

      1. Poverty
      2. Lack of education
      3. Fear

Unfortunately all are things politicians (especially from certain parties) are prone to intentionally exacerbating.
Not without coincidence, these things are also major roadblocks for ditching religion.

I think that’s correct, it’s hard to empathize on an empty belly and rent due in a week. Number 2 leads to 1 in many cases because we have a bizarre society. 3 comes from perpetual 1 and 2.

Many people are struggling and “sending money overseas” has been pointed out as a main culprit (despite it being a minor contributor compared to so many other factors)

Brains exploding in the Toronto Sun comment section of this article:

james ross · 11 HRS AGO FAKE POLLS - fake government Don’t believe a word they say…

Jim G · 12 HRS AGO I don’t believe these polls or any polls in Canada anymore. We need to provide aid to our own citizens that need it.

Revel Wolfe · 12 HRS AGO Just stop this madness. 51 million to Ukraine, 8 million to Cuba, how about we simply spend all this wealth on i dunno, Canadians?

del hansen · 14 HRS AGO Looks like a liberal convoy in Havana, no prosecution necessary all on the up and up.

Brian Lloyd · 14 HRS AGO I don’t get why Canadians find ok to support Communism in Cuba.

It’s kinda incredible that so much people haven’t bought the pro/US propaganda on Cuba given how much of it rains down on us.

And I guarantee you none of those fuckers want the money “saved” to actually be spent on needy Canadians. They want tax breaks because they’re “needy”.

The same people who vote to cut, not grow, social programs are asking for social programs?

I think what they really want is to be miserable fucks.

How many of those are actual Canadians (never mind Torontonians) vs bots, agitators, or retirees that haven’t stepped foot in Canada in years.

Those aren’t people. They’re foreign actors trying to sway public opinion.

The coolest Canadians I ever met were when I was on holiday in Cuba.

Sure. US anger, irritation, and emotional problems are their own to deal with, not Canadians.

I would like to see Canada go into Cuba and help straighten out their farming issues, and our dependence on the United States ’ off-season fresh food supply. It helps them with curancy issues,

remember, the media is owned by BILLIONAIRES - the intent is to report in such a way as to FORM OUR OPINIONS

Of course it’s higher than 51%, but they “adjust” their results to weaken our collective resolve

The time of very close french haircuts for the predator elite ruling class is approaching, and they know it

Countries obviously need to be sending food and medical supplies.

But rather than sending oil, countries sending aid should be sending equipment for setting up solar farms, so that the USA can never do this to them again.

Obviously they still need some oil in the short term, but China has so much solar production, and are allied with cuba, I’m surprised they’re not getting massive shipments of solar panels and battery banks.

The way things are going, Canada should be sending aid to the US.

Hmmm. But I guess there would be a tariff on that…
