Taxes make the overall quality of life for myself and everyone around me of a higher standard, so I’m happy I pay them. I’m just not happy rich people and mega corps do not.

Well to think them aren’t also very violent and wouldn’t kill each other for territories is pretty delusional. Nature is not kind.
Counterpoint: bonobos. Also, as far as I know orangutans seem to be generally pretty chill dudes, nothing like chimpanzees.
