When the hotel is free:
When the hotel costs you your freedom and still comes with slavery
I feel like someone my age wrote this because hotels are not around $100 anymore. Last concert i went to that was sufficiently far away to justify getting a room for the night, said room was over $200, tiny, and literally the cheapest in the building.
maybe in urban areas, but rural hotels can easily still be $90 for a cheap one.
source: i drive cross country a lot.
i feel weird. a few years ago i got a room for like 150 in a hcol area, downtown, on a holiday, during a festival, within walking distance of the festival, and i kind of felt like i was robbing the place. they could have charged twice that and gotten away with it. sometimes you just get lucky
It really depends. Holiday Inn Express can run close to 115-125 depending on location and nearby events. And there are certainly a lot of hotels under 100.
But if you’re anywhere near a decent metro under 100 is basically non-existent
Depends where and when. Wife and I hit up the Niagara Falls casinos in January and rooms are cheap and give you a lot of freebies
Hotwire is still pretty good and you can sometimes keep it around $100. You may also have been dealing with higher pricing due to an event in the area. But you’re also right that everything is more expensive.
When the hotel is a hostel:
Is that fucking Bob?
Is that the singer from Nickelback in the lower panel left corner?
No that’s Bob
Yeah well Bob might have a promising career in the music industry.
Please go watch Twin Peaks. It’s one of the best TV shows ever!
It’s THE best TV show ever. I can’t imagine what my life would look like had it never existed. I basically moved to the pnw solely because of this show lol
Seen Twin Peaks, watched it through twice over the years. Nickelback singer did not have a cameo appearance.
Look at this photograph
Every time I do it makes me laugh.
Fucking Bob shows up. One hundo it is.
make it 150€ in Paris.
Death by hot alien?
I’ll take two please
Worked wonders for Natasha Henstridge’s career 🤷
As someone who works in a job where they’ll only ever book cheap hotels, I can confirm.
Construction or archeology?
