Perhaps… or perhaps not. Hitler was a paranoid, drug addict. He made so many mistakes, that despite Germany’s early advantages he made a lot of bad decisions that lead to the downfall of germany. If he died earlier, someone else would took the reins and may not made the same mistakes and leading to germany’s victory.

It feels like the Taliban is just passing more and more ridiculous subjugation laws to try and get the west to attack them again so that they can go back to riding camels and shooting AKs with their ‘brothers’ instead of enduring the hell of office work and family life that is modern society.

I protested the war when it started, but it did start, and it did continue, and Trump’s move to free all those Taliban prisoners and basically give the country to them was one tmof the most shameful things America has done in a long time. Just because they’re conservative doesn’t mean they’re publishing falsehoods. Just be on the lookout for bias, which you should for all media.
For example, the oppression of women in Afghanistan is probably being reported on more by conservative sources not because they are against the oppression of women, but because they’re hawks who disagreed with leaving Afghanistan, and there’s probably some anti-muslim sentiment motivating it as well. Likewise liberal media sources are probably ignoring it because leaving Afghanistan the way America did was largely considered to be a disaster which was finalized under a Democratic administration, and for all their talk of caring about women they did basically abandon half the population of an entire nation. It would probably not help their side of the current election cycle to shine light on the catastrophic fallout of one of Biden’s major international policy decisions.
Also, remember its a conservative trap to blame the terrible withdrawal on Biden. Bush started that war with no objective and no end plan. It’s been sitting there waiting for a one-termer to have the political freedom to call time.

I see this as just another step towards the extremes of ridiculousness that is fundamentalist Islamic religion. Imagine being so disconnected from existence, and being so hypnotised by words, that you would subjugate those in your culture who, through their natural virtue, embody the positive characteristics of the very god they describe and worship such as love, compassion, acceptance, understanding, yeilding, giving etc.
